Louise Harris

Project Manager: Women & Girls / Serves

Louise has worked in a variety of roles within the community, youth and sport sector, from ‘on the ground’ youth work to project managing. She has joined Sported from a County Sports Partnership where she worked managing the Volunteer and Club Development programme as well as holding a portfolio of National Governing Body relationships. Previous to this, Louise has worked on sporting projects in rural Devon villages, managing youth inclusion projects, establishing an alternative education programme using outdoor sports, and working as an outdoor instructor facilitating groups of young people with complex needs.

Louise’s passion is to ensure everyone gets active. A big supporter of women in sport, Louise enjoys coaching and has set up several grassroots sports groups for women to address inactivity and rural isolation where she lives in North Devon.

And it is on the North Devon beaches that you will most likely see Louise outside of work, swimming/biking/running as she trains for triathlons, which she is always happy to talk about, endlessly, possibly to the annoyance of her colleagues!
