Ricky has been with Sported since September 2021, taking on the role of Northern Ireland Manager as maternity cover. After completing his BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Statistics, Ricky spent 15 years working through the community and voluntary sector, with a focus on seeing young people reach their full potential. He has always loved to see the impact that activity and investment can have in the lives of young people and their communities.

Ricky loves to think strategically, dreaming about far reaching possibilities then planning the steps to make them happen. He’s keen to see ways of how to strengthen and develop the incredible impact Sported have had on groups across the nation.

Outside of work, Ricky loves being with people; chatting endlessly over food and then focusing on his two other loves – his family and Liverpool Football Club.
