Chris grew up in Kent before moving to the big smoke for university, where he kept up his childhood love for sport, particularly football. He graduated from King’s College London with a degree in Law and a renewed passion for sport that led him to pursue a career within the sector.  

 Since his graduation Chris has worked in London across several different roles within sport. He previously worked at Premiership Rugby within the Community team, responsible for developing partnerships, programmes and funding streams to support participation growth and development opportunities within the game. He has also worked in fundraising for the Tennis Foundation and in sport development in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. 

 Chris not only shares his birthday with Nelson Mandela, but also shares his belief that ‘sport has the power to change the world’ and is excited to be working with a passionate team, members and volunteers who contribute to this every single day. In his spare time he captains his local rugby team, enjoys cycling, maintaining his wellbeing and mindfulness, reading, cinema and is a keen follower of most sports.
