We support the wider sport sector to achieve its outcomes. We foster collaboration through our network, in ways which ultimately increase reach, sustainability and impact across the sector.
Our network of over 5,000 grassroots sports clubs includes, but is considerably wider than, those affiliated to a National Governing Body, or part of other structures such as Active Partnerships. It includes community groups, un-affiliated clubs, charities and social enterprises, many of whom are off the radar of traditional support structures within sport.
We can work with you to:
Get people active
Tackle inequality in sports provision
Bring investment into the sector
Create a more sustainable sector
Fund facilities where people can be active
We believe there is more to this work than just increasing participation. We specifically want to work with the system not only to build sports clubs which address inequalities and are more inclusive, but which are also more sustainable and outcomes-focused. For example, we can:
Help the sector to reach, include, better understand and meet the needs of the grassroots sports clubs in our network – predominantly in harder-to-reach communities, for underserved groups.
Work with the sector to deliver projects/programmes to the clubs and groups in our network on its behalf, to bring them into the wider system.
Work with national or local teams to provide expert advice, providing an extra resource to create strong, sustainable clubs.
Together we are able to build a connected, resilient sport sector which offers opportunities for participation in sport for life, regardless of geography or circumstance.
