Danny graduated from Northumbria University with a Bachelor of science in sport development and then went on to complete a Master of Science in International sport management. 

Throughout his time at university Danny volunteered for local sport groups in Newcastle, this led to his nomination for young sports leader representing Newcastle which was hosted by the sported foundation. Danny found the event to be inspiring, and this eventually led to working for the sported foundation.

Danny has always been passionate about sport from an early age competing in swimming and football. Throughout his early career development he worked in South Africa working on sport for development projects and took part in Camp America as a swimming coach. He has used these experiences to help nurture his education and learning throughout university and is now part of the sported team and dedicated to help local communities across the UK achieve their goals.
