Kate joins the Sported Board as a C0-Opted Member and has 25 years experience in charities, grant making and corporate foundations and now has a portfolio career, combining interim executive leadership, strategic consulting and non-executive roles.

Kate was the first Head of Newcastle United Foundation for over a decade, leading the organisation from start-up to award-winning charity.

Kate has also held the role of Interim Executive Director at Virgin Money Foundation.

Kate also served as a Trustee of the Greggs Foundation and chair of their Grants Committee.

Kate is a volunteer with Speakers for Schools.
