I studied at the University of Exeter, where I earned a BA(Hons) in Anthropology and an MA in International Relations. During my Master’s, I wrote my dissertation on the role of grassroots football in rebuilding communities affected by conflict. This research sparked my interest in the transformative power of sport and led me to pursue a career in the Sport for Development sector. After graduating in 2022, I spent six months travelling across Southeast Asia before beginning my non-profit career, first at the children’s mental health charity Place2Be, and most recently at Women for Women International.

I’ve always been passionate about sport – I grew up playing and watching it, was on the netball committee at University, and started running during lockdown. I’m aiming to run the London Marathon this April for Mind (injury permitting!) and the Berlin Marathon in September. I’m also a keen football fan, with a season ticket for Arsenal Women, and I follow the men’s team closely too.
