Hazel comes to Sported with a background working in the third sector, encompassing grant-making, programme and project management, development and delivery. This includes experience working in partnership with a wide range of communities, organisations and specialist professionals.

Hazel is passionate about addressing inequalities of underserved communities and her motivation comes from wanting to make a difference.

Hazel enjoys an active lifestyle with running being her favourite sport. Living in Sheffield, Hazel has the Peak District on her doorstep and makes the most of hiking and running trails in her spare time.
