Based in Rochdale – England, Matheus is a Football and Futsal coach with 16 years’ experience across community, education, and high-performance sport in Brazil, France, Ireland, and England. He has a strong belief in the power of sport to support inclusion, personal development, and positive life outcomes.

Throughout his career, he has worked in a range of environments including academy, amateur, and community settings. He contributed to coaching, sports science development within amateur clubs and supporting community and mental health initiatives at charities. Across these roles, he has collaborated with players, coaches, and partner organisations to deliver structured, inclusive, and development-focused programmes.

Prior to working at Sported he had experiences in public and private sector roles in Strategic Planning and Impact Practices.
