Penny has a strong interest in sport, inclusivity, and widening access to physical activity. This shaped both her academic studies in Sports Science and Sports Sociology focusing on understanding the barriers affecting Black participation in swimming.

She has worked internationally teaching Sport and coordinating English language programmes. Alongside education, she has experience in the digital space as a content creator, columnist, and affiliate manager.

Outside of work, Penny has a love for style and self-expression, always appreciating a good dopamine hit through clothing or a colourful mug in a meeting.
