Stephen started work at the Local Authority before moving to the Big Lottery Fund where he worked for almost 19 years on a number of Funding Programmes on both assessment and grant management, working on a number of different programmes from smaller fast paced grants to medium and larger programmes and left at the end of 2024.

Stephen has since worked for the NHS Business Service Authority and most recently assessing on an ad-hoc basis for the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust assessing on their Apart not Alone programme.

He is a big fan of sports and the benefit that it brings to young people and the community as a whole which is what attracted to Stephen to Sported and their mission. In his spare time his hobbies are going to see live music, watching various sports and trips away with friends and family.
