Karen is Chief Client Officer at Uncommon, a global creative studio focused on brand purpose with offices in London, Stockholm and New York.

Previously, her roles included serving as Executive Client Leader at AMV BBDO, Head of Transformation at creative agency Mother, and CEO of McCann Manchester, an integrated advertising agency that creates effective communication is all its forms for a wide range of clients, from advertising, social, PR to digital performance and content production.

Karen has over 30 years experience in the advertising industry, sits on the Advertising Association Board, is a member of Women in Advertising and Communications, Leadership (WACL), as well as being a proud Board trustee of Sported.

Karen is passionate about ensuring every young person has the best and equitable start in life and the importance that sport can play in both social and physical development.

She has become a runner to manage her own mental health and successfully completed the 2021 London Marathon, as well as being a triple season ticket holder at Old Trafford for herself and her two football-mad sons – despite being a Spurs fan.
