Ping! Birmingham is a project in partnership with Table Tennis England and Sported to bring table tennis to new community audiences
By working with groups in the Sported network, the project helped our members to develop a Hub, and then worked with another four local Spokes to develop table tennis programmes for young people in their community.
Over a period of 18 months, we are working with three members to create new Hubs, the first being Pitch 2 Progress, and the second Saheli Hub.
In the wake of Birmingham hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games, this project is helping to create a legacy through broadening table tennis activity at a community level.
