Passionate about the power of sport and its ability to support the physical and mental well-being of people of all ages, Tim initially joined Sported as a volunteer consultant before becoming a Trustee in 2025.

Tim is a founding partner at the consultancy start-up, Humbug, an Innovate UK backed enterprise.

With 35 years of experience in the marketing industry, specialising in loyalty and membership programmes, Tim brings detailed knowledge and leadership to the board.  He has worked for major organisations in the UK and internationally, such as the Financial Times, Draft Worldwide, Nectar (Aimia Inc) and is the former Head of Membership at Rakuten Europe and is an alumni of London Business School’s executive education programme.

He believes that friendships, built through sport, are the lifelong kind. Over the years, he’s participated in many sports, including rugby, cricket, hockey, tennis and skiing and volunteered as an accredited RFU age grade rugby coach/referee.

His fingers and toes remain crossed that Wasps RFC will be resurrected and is in constant ‘training’ for his next Snowdonia scramble.
