Judith Rankin

NORTHERN IRELAND NATIONAL MANAGER

Judith is based in Northern Ireland and is passionate about increasing the capacity of local organisations to support young people. Her work focuses on the development and delivery of a range of services and Projects.

Judith has a talent for demystifying complex information so that’s it more user-friendly for groups, which she harnesses in the development of new Projects and resources. Alongside international training facilitation experiences, Judith has a range of experience developing volunteer training packages and resources. She enjoys working alongside Sported members and volunteers who share her strong belief in the power of sport to help make a difference to people’s lives.

Prior to joining Sported in 2014, Judith graduated from Queens University Belfast with a Psychology degree and completed a year-long internship with the Centre of Effective Services, gaining experience in implementing strategic plans and project outcomes evaluations for a range of community projects.

Judith is particularly passionate about supporting people and organisations to develop their capacity to provide evidence of the impact and effect their work has on communities and individuals, and leads on the development of Sported’s Impact Journey for members across the UK.

Note: Judith is on Maternity Leave until Autumn 2024
