Matt joined Sported in 2024 as our Head of Corporates, Trusts and Foundations. Matt combines his passion for Sport, Communities and Social Impact by harnessing the strengths of our partners to empower young people through sport.

 

Prior to joining Sported Matt led the Santander UK corporate foundation, leading the charity through a period of transformation, expanding its partnerships, building its corporate relationship and enhancing the social impact practice of the foundation. 

 

Having worked across the third sector and Sport for Development for over a decade Matt brings a diversity of knowledge in development, corporate social impact and grants. In addition to his role at Sported, Matt brings his strategic experience to voluntary roles as a Trustee at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation, and as an advisory committee member to BBC Children in Need.

When not working or volunteering, Matt can be found enjoying life with his two young children on the South Coast, trail running and listening to a good podcast.
