Sported is able to support community projects thanks to funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. The award is delivering funding to groups in Scotland.
The funding is distributed by Sported to organisations delivering sport for young people for wider social purpose.
Grants of £1,000 will support a wide range of projects and initiatives that address local need, promote social inclusion, and strengthen the communities in underserved parts of Scotland.
People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which raises money for charities. To date, players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.3 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.
Funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery was awarded to Sported through People’s Postcode Trust.
