Born in Guinea-Bissau, moved to Portugal where I lived for 12 years before moving to Northern Ireland in 2011, and not to forget my short stay in Bilbao (Spain) when I was five years old for medical reasons.   

When I arrived in Northern Ireland it was very tough, mainly because of the language but also because I had to restart my life, new friends, new school, different culture, and cold weather. It was all new to me, but thanks to the power of sports I was able to meet new people and learn English, which made life a lot easier for me.  

My background is in sports, mainly football. During my time in school, I organised and delivered 3 football tournaments to promote good behaviour during school lunchtime. I was awarded Sports Man of the year in the second year of the tournaments.  

I graduated from Ulster University in July 2022 with a BSc Hons Degree in Football Coaching & Business Management, and straight after graduation, I applied for a job in Sported. Before joining Sported., I worked as a Sales Advisor in O2 for 4 years. Sports have always been a big part of my life. I have a big passion for football and experience as a coach and player.

In my spare time, I volunteer to coach in various local youth clubs in Northern Ireland as I love to help young people maximise their potential and enjoy the beauty of the game.
