Congratulations on being awarded funding from the Black Identity Football Fund.

Talking about this funding demonstrates to other potential donors and funders that you’re a trusted organisation and further promotes your work to your followers and local community.
You can do this across your marketing and social media, as outlined below. And why not use photos and videos to bring it to life?
Descriptions and Referencing
The donation is a part of the Barclays Community Football Fund. When referencing Sported in connection with the donation, please use the phrase ‘In partnership with’ for example:
“We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Black Identity Football Fund, delivered in partnership with Sported.’

If you would like to include a logo in your communication, wherever possible the Barclays Cyan blue logo should be used on a transparent background
Barclays White Logo
As an exception, on backgrounds where the Cyan blue can’t be seen, you can use the white logo.

If you would like to include a short description of the Barclays Community Football Fund to accompany the logo or any of your promotional activities, please use the following:
“The Black Identity Football Fund has been born through Sported’s partnership with Barclays and their commitment to racial diversity in football. As part of the wider Barclays Community Football Fund, Sported has a dedicated pot of money, focused on participation and representation from racially diverse groups.”
If you would like to include a short description about Sported, please use the following:
“Sported is a charity which delivers expertise, resources and vital support to clubs and groups that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people – and on our communities – throughout the UK.”

Press Releases
Local newspaper, radio, television and websites are a brilliant way to promote your accomplishments and acknowledge your grant. Not only does it let people know about your success, it also promotes your activity to a wider audience.
Please keep Sported informed of any press activities – including writing articles, giving interviews or publishing press releases. Please also let us know if your project is nominated for, or wins. any awards. We would appreciate any acknowledgement of Barclays or in any speeches, interviews or press releases relating to the award. We may be able to provide extra support and help in creating newsworthy events and ideas.
