Carrie B&W

Carrie Martinson

Carrie joins Sported from an education background, having taught in Alternative Provision, she has seen first hand the difference physical activity can have on improving the lives of hard to reach young people.

After an early career in the third sector co-ordinating events and volunteers, Carrie re-trained to work as a Bikeability Instructor, before training as a teacher. As well as working with young people, Carrie has also run a local Scout troop for over 8 years, encouraging the scouts to develop as rounded people by falling into muddy streams, climbing things and eating perfectly toasted marshmallows.

In her spare time, Carrie likes to get out into the wild, paddleboarding, canoeing, hiking and cycling.

Carrie joins the Network Services team to work on the Sported Hub.
